Made to withstand the tropical hard rains of Palau, the 22° jacket has a 2.3mm smooth finish neoprene outside which is extremely water resistant. The seams are overlocked stitched and taped sealed. Hood and waistline have built-in drawstrings to tighten the fit. YKK Aquaseal Vislon zippers with an internal flap complete the protection. The 22º jacket breaks the wind and holds up to sun and salt water exposure. It is both easy to rinse and quick drying. Rolled up it packs away nicely as part of your essential ocean gear. Designed by dive guide, Rick Miskiv, while working on the speedboats of Palau, the jacket is for anyone who is working on, in or near the ocean in any location. Currently our jacket is used internationally by renowned watermen and marine biologists including the crew of Unique Dive Expeditions (Palau) , Pelagic Life (Mexico) , Rachel Graham – MarAlliance (Belize) , Keith Rossouw – Aliwal Dive Centre (South Africa), and Hugh Miller – BBC cameraman (UK).
Heavy duty flatlock stitching with tape sealed seams on the inner jacket keeps hard rains out and prevents any leakage. Designed to withstand abuse of sun and salt water.
High quality YKK Aquaguard Vislon water resistant zippers are designed for use in wet environments.
